About us

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone!

There’s been a bit of a hiatus around these parts due to me (your fearless? host Zainab) travelling rather a lot the past few weeks.

But fear not, for we’ll be entering the new year with a bang and plus maybe if you’ve been very good this year a surprise bonus episode will be released shortly too 👀

keep your eyes peeled and have a wonderful holiday season! xo

The Diaspora

The eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed a slight shift in wording around the website and social media pages for No Nazar.

What began as an outlet for South Asian voices has kinda grown to encompass all voices from all the diasporas.

It’s a change that I welcome and I think that my journey so far with No Nazar has brought me face to face with new and exciting people who have stories that demand to be told.

Most of the shows will still be framed in a South Asian diasporic context because that’s the context I come from, I don’t expect to speak for anyone or any experience other than my own.

But, this show isn’t about me. It’s about you, your story, your voice and your experience.

SO!

Here’s to wishing a you a day filled with No Nazar whatsoever 😉

Thank you for listening.

Announcement!

Hey guys!

No Nazar is switching from a weekly format to a biweekly format  that means one episode every two weeks.

I hope you guys understand- I found the monthly format to be a bit full on, as I interview and produce the show completely on my own. I decided to switch to a biweekly format so I can ensure that every episode you guys listen to is a quality one!

Hopefully in future when I can get some help for the show I’ll resume a weekly format, but as for now this is how I’ll do things and see how it works out.

Thanks for understanding, and I’ll be spilling the chai on our next episode- next monday!
